Most of the terminal accidents we usually hear or see are caused by overloaded use of the terminal, and some are caused by loose connectors. These are sufficient to illustrate the importance of correctly connecting the terminal blocks. In order to avoid mistakes when connecting the terminal blocks, let's see what problems should be paid attention to when connecting the terminal blocks.

Precautions for terminal connection

1. When the terminal is fixed, the torque is moderate, and the loose terminal should be replaced in time. In case of looseness or falling, it is prohibited to continue working.

2. When the screwdriver is used to fasten or loosen the screws on the terminal, the top of the screwdriver must be tightened with force, and then tightened or loosened. In order to prevent the screwdriver from sliding with the screw, which may cause damage to the screw and make it difficult to disassemble and assemble, especially the air switch commonly used in the lifting box.

3. If it is difficult to remove the bolts and nuts, do not act rashly to prevent the screws on the end face from being deformed and difficult to remove. It should be knocked with appropriate coordination, or add screw loosening agent, dilute hydrochloric acid, and then remove.

4. Do not tighten or loosen the bolts and nuts connecting the terminals, and use an auxiliary tong to prevent damage. Adjust the opening when using the movable wrench to prevent damage and deformation of bolts and nuts, which will make disassembly and assembly difficult.

5. Two wires of the same type and specification can only be connected to the same terminal.

6. For the terminals that are easy to loosen or contact, the wire connector must be fixed on the terminal in the form of a question mark. Increase the contact area to prevent looseness.

7. When connecting the wire connector or head of the terminal, it is forbidden to add non copper gaskets or gaskets with poor conductivity.

8. The contact surface of terminal connector shall be smooth without oxidation. After cleaning, apply conductive paste and tighten it.

9. The terminal shall be connected to the temporary line. The single wire connector shall be folded into two halves, and then the connector shall be connected to the empty opening. The single core hard wire shall be connected to the empty opening in the form of a question mark.

10. For motor terminals of 30kw and above, do not pull out the cable from the motor and connect it to the motor. Solder pads with poor conductivity, such as galvanized nuts, flat washers and spring washers.

11. When insulating tape is used to connect cables to terminals or other equipment to protect insulation, the insulation layer shall comply with 1/2 pressure ratio from one end to the other, and shall be wound back and forth.
